Job summary

Synergy Medical is seeking experienced Scrub Theatre Nurses to join their team. You will prepare the operating theatre, assist surgeons, and support during procedures while ensuring patient safety and sterile environments.

The role requires UK NHS scrub experience, valid NMC registration, DBS, and the ability to provide references and employment history. Flexible shifts and fast online recruitment process available.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration.
• At least 6 months UK NHS scrub experience.
• Provide a clinical reference and employment history covering the last 3 years.
• Enhanced DBS (or documents to apply for one).
• Proof of right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating theatre, ensuring instruments are sterile and ready.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supporting throughout procedures.
• Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations, following surgical team instructions.
• Assist with patient draping and de-gowning.
• Complete accurate documentation and hand over patients safely to recovery.
