Job Summary

Role: Scrub Nurse
Location: First Floor, Titan House, Euston Park, Telford, TF3 4LY
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours, 4 days a week, 7.30am - 5.30pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays
Salary: £33,384 - £41,312

Main Duties

• Adhere to the principles of clinical governance.
• Manage patient admission and discharge on theatre days.
• Administer drugs following NMC guidelines for safe handling of medicines.
• Maintain accurate records according to NMC guidelines.
• Provide scrub assistance for clinical procedures.
• Report accidents or incidents following correct procedures.
• Assist the ophthalmic clinical team and consultants in patient care.
• Prepare clinical areas and check equipment before procedures.
• Ensure proper storage of equipment.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Assist with stock control and maintain par levels.
• Manage theatre equipment daily.
