Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Screening Admin and Health Inequalities Lead. The role focuses on leading the admin team for the bowel cancer screening programme, monitoring waiting lists, and ensuring Trust standards are met.

It offers an opportunity to shape health equity initiatives across a large NHS network. The successful candidate will work closely with the Programme Manager and lead on developing a new role addressing uptake for 50–74 year olds

Qualifications

• Ability to manage the screening admin team and workflows.
• Experience monitoring waiting lists and adherence to policies.
• Develop health equity audit and action log.
• Collaborate with national bowel screening team and GPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of screening programme administrative staff.
• Provide cover for Programme Manager during annual leave and sickness.
• Monitor screening standards and waiting lists per Trust policies.
• Coordinate health equity initiatives across Norfolk and beyond.
