Zusammenfassung

SSE is seeking a Local Authority Engagement Manager based in Scotland to lead SSEN Transmission’s engagement with Local Authority Executive Teams, Councillors and Committees. You will develop and deliver engagement programmes for major projects, aligning with business priorities while protecting the company’s reputation and ensuring local context informs implementation.

The role is a 1-year secondment/fixed-term contract with hybrid/offsite options.

Qualifikationen

• Exceptional communication and engagement skills to communicate SSEN Transmission's social, environmental and economic impact.
• First class interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships and explain complex issues clearly to external stakeholders.
• Open and flexible work style to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Experience/understanding of the energy industry and/or Local Government.

Aufgaben

• Build, promote, protect and enhance the profile, aims, values and reputation of SSEN Transmission with key stakeholders through external engagement, communications, public and media relations.
• Design, execute, monitor and review Local Authority engagement programmes to build advocacy for SSEN Transmission's business priorities and major projects.
• Proactively build alliances with wider stakeholders, advocating on behalf of SSEN Transmission's customers and stakeholders, coordinating support via communications, public affairs and regulatory functions.
