The Edinburgh or Glasgow-based Business Generation Manager will lead marketing, bidding and client engagement for Scotland during maternity leave cover.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional marketing and communications activities across Scotland, ensuring content flows through digital, social, PR and traditional channels.
• Deliver targeted marketing campaigns to enhance market profile and support lead generation.
• Produce marketing collateral, thought leadership, client insights, case studies and press content.
• Provide marketing guidance to technical teams for social media and promotions.
• Develop brand-building programmes translating market trends into campaigns.
• Support internal communications plans to raise internal and external profile.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform positioning.
• Champion bid-to-win methodology, driving bid planning, management and proposal development.
• Develop compelling bids with clear win themes and client-focused solutions.
• Lead and coordinate strategic pursuits and pursuit teams.
• Manage bid resources and coordinators across Scotland.
• Monitor pipeline activity, bid performance and conversion rates.
• Support development of new client propositions and value-led solutions.
• Partner with leadership to identify growth opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
• Translate strategy into targeted growth initiatives and revenue objectives.
• Support key account management and expand services with existing clients.
• Champion regional and national Business Generation initiatives.
