Bidwells is seeking an exceptional Planning Partner to lead our Scotland Planning Team. This newly created role focuses on strategic direction, team leadership, and high-impact projects across Scotland.

You will drive client relationships, develop new business, and oversee major planning initiatives in collaboration with colleagues across departments. RTPI-qualified leader with strong consultancy experience will help shape growth, governance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• RTPI qualification or membership with significant town planning experience.
• Proven leadership in planning consultancy or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of Scottish planning system and policy.

Responsibilities

• Shape team direction and operations, drive growth and profitability.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of key clients including developers and landowners.
• Identify opportunities and expand networks to generate new business for the firm.
• Oversee complex planning projects and ensure high-quality delivery.
