Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle management of human biological samples, ensuring quality, compliance, and operational efficiency by:
- Managing acquisition, registration, and storage of biological samples in accordance with SOPs
- Maintaining accurate inventory using LIMS for full traceability
- Coordinating distribution to internal and external teams, ensuring integrity and compliance
- Leading audits, upholding HTA and GDPR standards, and driving continuous improvements
- Training team members to maintain technical and quality standards
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc in Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or related field3–4 years’ hands-on experience in biobanking or human tissue sample management within pharma/biotechProven track record working under HTA regulatory frameworks
- Strong understanding of sample lifecycle management and compliance standards
Skills / Technical Competencies
- Proficiency with biobank information systems (LIMS)
- Strong knowledge of HTA compliance, quality systems, and SOP-driven environments
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Haves
- Practical experience with biospecimen processing techniques
- Knowledge of GDPR, research ethics, and sample logistics
