Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Analyze data, interpret results, and generate scientifically sound conclusions.
  • Prepare technical summaries, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
  • Support project planning, execution and timeline management.
  • Share knowledge and mentor colleagues where appropriate.
  • Support CAPA, Change Control, and document management requirements.

We are seeking Scientists to join our Technical Services team to support a broad range of laboratory, assay development, testing, and scientific investigation activities. This opportunity is suitable for candidates across varying levels of experience, from early-career scientists through to experienced laboratory professionals. The successful candidate will contribute to the execution of experiments, testing and analysis of products and materials, interpretation of results, and documentation of scientific findings while ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and laboratory standards. Depending on experience level, responsibilities may also include method characterization, mentoring junior colleagues, project support, and technical leadership within assigned activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform testing, assays, and laboratory activities according to approved protocols, procedures, and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
  • Conduct routine and innovative experiments to support product development, technical investigations, and business priorities.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of analytical and laboratory instrumentation.
  • Compile, maintain, and review laboratory records, reports, notebooks, and quality documentation in accordance with quality system and design control requirements.
  • Analyse data, interpret results, and generate scientifically sound conclusions and recommendations.
  • Prepare technical summaries, reports, protocols, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Apply scientific problem-solving techniques to support investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project and departmental objectives are achieved.
  • Support project planning, execution, and timeline management where appropriate.
  • Contribute to test method development and characterization activities as required.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance, training, or mentoring to colleagues where appropriate.
  • Support compliance activities including CAPA, Change Control, document management, and quality system requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with all Corporate, Divisional, Quality, Health & Safety, and Regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications Required :
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific, engineering, life sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, biology, medical device, or related technical discipline.
  • Strong scientific and technical knowledge with the ability to execute laboratory experiments and analyse data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred :
  • Experience working within a laboratory, technical services, diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated environment.
  • Experience with analytical instrumentation, assay execution, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of design controls, CAPA, Change Control, and quality systems.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and project management tools.
  • Experience training or mentoring team members.
