RSSL is seeking a Scientist I to perform routine and investigative microbiology analyses, including bioburden, endotoxin and identifications, in a regulated environment. The role is primarily based at the Wokingham site with potential cross-site work.
You will train junior staff, support laboratory management and ensure data quality per GMP/UKAS standards, while delivering timely results to clients in food, pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

The role at Scientist I is to be responsible for performing a range of routine and investigative analyses ensuring that projects are completed effectively and meet the customer’s contractual agreements. Perform microbiological analysis and report work in accordance with the quality standards. This role focuses on the analysis of products using Bioburdens, Endotoxins and Identifications. Supervise and train junior members of the team as required. Client contact and administrative support for laboratory management.
The position will be primarily based at the Wokingham although may require attendance of any of the RSSL sites.
