IMU Biosciences is seeking a Scientist I to join the laboratory platform team to generate high-quality immunology data. The role focuses on day-to-day operation of our immune profiling platform, including spectral flow cytometry and single-cell genomics workflows.

You will work with a collaborative team on routine assays, contribute to platform development, and handle sample logistics with external partners. Weekend lab work on a rota earns time off in lieu and overtime pay.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in a biological science with hands-on lab experience.
• Strong practical experience in flow cytometry (15 colour panels).
• Experience handling human blood or tissue to isolate immune cells (e.g., PBMCs).
• Attention to data quality and reproducibility.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsabilités

• Perform immune phenotyping and functional assays, including high-parameter flow cytometry.
• Isolate and process human blood and tissue samples.
• Prepare samples for single-cell sequencing workflows.
• Support data handling, documentation, and storage to internal standards.
