Your Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Scientist 1 or Scientist 2 (depending on your experience level) to join our Molecular Biology team, focusing on Genetic Stability testing packages. As a Molecular Biology Scientist, you will be responsible for the overall conduct of GMP studies. You will provide scientific support to internal and external clients regarding assays conducted within the laboratory. Additionally, you will maintain study records, including deviation records, to meet regulatory standards; respond to audit observations through BRIQS; and proactively implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. The role offers flexibility to work Monday to Friday or a condensed 4-day week, with a requirement to work 1 in 8 weekends.

Who you are:
  • BSc or higher degree in Biological Sciences with 3+ years of relevant experience or a PhD.
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA extractions, qPCR, endpoint PCR, Sanger sequencing, droplet PCR, Northern/Southern blotting, or molecular microbiology is desirable.
  • Previous experience working within GxP quality systems is preferred.
  • Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
  • Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills to ensure successful project execution.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan and manage workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality service to internal and external clients.
