Job summary

CuspAI is seeking a Scientific Product Manager in Cambridge, UK to lead partner labs onboarding and translate research needs into platform requirements. You will work with scientists, ML researchers and engineers to enable AI-driven experimentation in real laboratories.

You will own a portfolio of labs, shape workflows, and collaborate across teams to deliver experiments, data models, and provenance improvements. This role includes frequent partner engagements and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science or related experimental discipline or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with high-throughput or automated experimentation in lab or industry
• Proven ability to translate scientific needs into engineerable requirements
• Understanding of experimental data provenance and metadata quality

Responsibilities

• Shape and prioritise the roadmap for experimental data, protocols and campaigns for the CuspAI platform.
• Write specifications and acceptance criteria for engineers and ML researchers.
• Lead onboarding and map partner lab workflows, instruments and data systems.
