Job summary

Adaptyv is seeking a hybrid sales and customer success professional who can bridge science and business for our protein engineering platform. You will be the primary contact for customers, guiding them from the initial conversation through ongoing engagement and helping them design experiments on the platform.

You will discuss assay selection, onboarding, and ongoing account management, while collaborating with the biology team to troubleshoot experiments and identify expansion opportunities

Qualifications

• Scientific background in protein engineering, biochemistry or biophysics.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles; CRO/biotech vendor experience is a plus.
• Commercially driven with focus on revenue, pipeline and closing deals.
• Strong communication adapted to scientific and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Run technical sales calls discussing binding kinetics, expression systems, and assay design.
• Onboard new customers and help design their first experiments on the platform.
• Monitor accounts, flag issues early, and suggest next steps based on results.
• Collaborate with biology team to troubleshoot experiments.
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and propose new assays or campaigns.
• Represent Adaptyv at conferences and industry events; contribute to booth conversations.
• Feed customer insights back to product and biology teams.
