Job summary

GSL Education is recruiting a Science Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition for a KS4 student in Goole. The role involves two 2-hour weekly sessions (4 hours) during term time, with start date in September 2026, at an hourly rate of £29-£35.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching or tutoring Science, a solid understanding of the national curriculum, and the ability to adapt sessions to individual needs to support GCSE progress.

GSL Education is currently recruiting for a Science Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition support for a Key Stage 4 student based in Goole. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Science Teacher, experienced tutor or education professional looking to make a positive impact through personalised support.

The role will involve delivering two 2-hour tuition sessions per week (4 hours total), helping the student develop confidence, engagement and progress within Science, as they progress towards their GCSE exams.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience teaching or tutoring Science.
• Has a strong understanding of the Science curriculum.
• Can build rapport and create a positive learning relationship with students.
• Is confident adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
• Has experience supporting students with additional needs (desirable but not essential).
• Is passionate about helping young people achieve their potential.
