Thomas Deacon Education Trust is seeking two enthusiastic Science Technicians to join our Science Department. You will prepare experiments and materials, maintain lab resources and help ensure practical lessons are safe, engaging and fully equipped for success.
We value highly organised, proactive individuals who are energetic about science and education, able to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. Experience with lab equipment is advantageous.
As a Science Technician, you'll be the driving force behind exciting and engaging practical science lessons. You'll prepare experiments, equipment and materials, maintain laboratory resources, support staff and students, and help ensure our laboratories are safe, organised and ready for discovery every day.
You'll thrive in this role if you're highly organised, enjoy solving problems, have a keen eye for detail and can manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with scientific equipment or in a laboratory setting would be advantageous, but most importantly, you'll bring energy, initiative and a genuine enthusiasm for science and education.
