Job summary

Connex Education is seeking a Qualified Food Technician to inspire students in science within a North Birmingham school. The role emphasizes delivering engaging lessons to small groups, supporting SEN students, and maintaining a safe, encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications

QTS – Qualified Teaching Status is required.
Previous experience working in Education is essential.
Commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom.
Understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, tailored to small groups and individual needs.
Differentiate teaching to support students with SEN and other needs.
Create a safe, nurturing classroom that promotes confidence and curiosity.
Use creative and practical approaches to make Science meaningful and enjoyable.
Assess, mark, and provide regular feedback to track and improve progress.
