Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a reliable Science Technician for a secondary school in Chester. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm (Fri 8:30am–4:00pm).

You will support the science department by preparing practical lessons, maintaining equipment and ensuring laboratories are ready for use throughout the day. • Previous experience as a Science Technician, ideally within a secondary school.
• Good understanding of laboratory equipment and practical science.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and COSHH.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to prioritise tasks and work independently.
• Practical, dependable and confident working as part of a science department.
• Experience with GCSE practical work would be beneficial.
