Job summary

TLTP Education is seeking a Science Technician for a secondary school in Hemel Hempstead. You will prepare equipment, support teachers with experiments, and ensure laboratories are well stocked and safe for lessons.

• Maintaining and checking scientific equipment
• Ensuring practical activities meet health and safety requirements
• Managing stock and maintaining accurate records
• Troubleshooting practical and technical issues when required
• Working closely with teachers to ensure lessons run smoothly
• Supporting students in developing their practical science skills and understanding

Science Technician – The Role

As a Science Technician, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of practical science lessons across the school. You will work closely with teaching staff to ensure lessons are properly prepared, well resourced and carried out safely.
