Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Science Technician for a secondary school in Wembley, a full-time, Monday-Friday role from 8:00am-4:00pm, with a long-term contract and potential for permanent placement upon successful introduction.

Are you an experienced Science Technician looking for your next opportunity, or a graduate with a strong science background looking to build a career within education?

We're looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Science Technician to join a fantastic secondary school in Wembley on a long-term, full-time basis, with the opportunity to become permanent with the school following a successful introduction and placement.

This is a Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm position, offering excellent consistency and the opportunity to become a valued member of the school's science department.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Preparing equipment, materials and practical resources for science lessons
  • Setting up and clearing away practical experiments
  • Supporting teachers during practical lessons where required
  • Maintaining and organising laboratory equipment and resources
  • Ensuring laboratories and preparation areas are clean, safe and well organised
  • Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of equipment and consumables
  • Following appropriate health and safety procedures
  • Supporting the wider science department with day-to-day requirements
