Chatham Grammar is seeking a dedicated Science Technician to join our team for 37 hours per week during term time plus two weeks. The role provides high-quality technical, practical and organisational support to teachers, ensuring equipment is maintained and resources are available to deliver engaging science lessons safely.
You will assist with planning and running practical activities, support safe experiments and contribute to a positive learning environment.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Technician to join our successful team at Chatham Grammar. This opportunity is for 37 hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks, the 2 extra weeks should be worked during school closure periods. The purpose of the Science Technician is to provide high-quality technical, practical and organisational support that enables teachers to deliver safe, engaging and effective science education. This role will support teaching staff and will ensure that equipment is maintained and adequate levels of materials and equipment are available for use. By ensuring that practical activities are well planned, appropriately resourced and carried out safely, the Science Technician contributes to creating high-quality practical experiences that support teaching and learning and help students to develop their scientific knowledge, practical skills, curiosity and confidence.
