Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group is seeking a reliable Science Technician for a secondary academy in Barking & Dagenham. You will prepare and maintain equipment and resources for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, ensuring labs are safe and ready for lessons.

You will support teachers during practical sessions and manage stock while adhering to health and safety regulations. Previous lab or school-based experience is desirable but training can be provided.

You will prepare, maintain, and organise equipment, chemicals, and resources for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons, ensuring laboratories are safe, well-equipped, and ready for use. Working closely with teaching staff, you will provide technical support during practical activities, maintain stock levels, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. Previous laboratory or school-based experience is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
