Job summary

Caludon Castle School in Coventry is seeking a Science Technician to support the science faculty. The role is full-time and permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only with 5 inset days, and starts negotiable.

Salary is Grade 3, £25,185–£26,403 full-time, with pro rata figures for part-time or hours worked. You will have an aptitude for science, strong problem solving and organisational skills, and IT proficiency.

• Educated to at least A level in sciences.
• Experience in a school or industrial laboratory enabling work with health and safety requirements.
• Aptitude for science with strong problem solving and organisational skills and IT skills.

Or have you got an interest in science and would like to train as a science technician? If so, we have just the right opportunity for you.We are looking for a science technician to join our successful and friendly science faculty. The overall purpose of the role is to complement the educational work of the faculty and to provide an effective and efficient support for the learning and teaching of science. Ideally you will be educated to at least A level in sciences and ideally you will have industrial or school laboratory experience enabling you to work in accordance with health and safety requirements. Most importantly you will need an aptitude for science, excellent problem solving and organisational skills with strong IT skills.We have state of the art premises with excellent resources and laboratories within the science faculty.
