Job summary

Caludon Castle School in Coventry is seeking a Science Technician to support the science faculty. The role is full-time and permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only with 5 inset days, and starts negotiable.

Salary is Grade 3, £25,185–£26,403 full-time, with pro rata figures for part-time or hours worked. You will have an aptitude for science, strong problem solving and organisational skills, and IT proficiency.

Qualifications

• Educated to at least A level in sciences.
• Experience in a school or industrial laboratory enabling work with health and safety requirements.
• Aptitude for science with strong problem solving and organisational skills and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Complement teaching staff in science faculty and support learning activities.
• Work in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Provide efficient and effective classroom support.
