Job description

We are looking to appoint a Science Technician to join our well-led and motivated team committed to continuous improvement.

In this role, you will:

• Set high expectations which motivate and challenge students in a productive learning environment
• Provide effective support to the Science department
• Carrying out risk assessments for practical and technical activities
• Prepare equipment, materials and solutions and set up/check equipment for use in practical classes
• Set up and, on occasions, carry out demonstrations
• Retrieve and clear away equipment
• Fulfil wider professional responsibilities with high standards of personal and professional conduct
