Location: Watford
Salary: £100 per day for the first year, plus fringe Unqualified Scale 1 – 3 (£23,140 - £28,123 per annum during the second year of the teacher training programme)
Start Date: ASAP / September 2025

We are seeking to appoint a Science Teacher Trainee to implement and deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum, supporting the overall progress and development of our students. The successful candidate will facilitate an engaging learning experience, enabling students to achieve their full potential.
During the first year, you will work alongside our Science Teachers, delivering small group support and team teaching. In the second year, you will gain a PGCE (Post-Graduate Certificate of Education) and Qualified Teacher Status while working hands-on in the classroom as a Science Teacher. Your tutor and coach will support you in gradually increasing your independent teaching time throughout the year.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to student learning, high subject expertise, and professional development. A flexible and adaptable attitude is essential to meet the needs of the school.
