Job summary

Academics is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to work in a Secondary PRU in Kettering. You will deliver engaging Science lessons to secondary pupils in a small, supportive setting, modelling high expectations and using practical approaches to re-engage learners.

The role suits teachers with QTS or equivalent experience, strong science knowledge, and the ability to manage behaviour in challenging contexts. PRU/SEMH experience is advantageous and there is potential for longer-term opportunities.

Qualifications

QTS or relevant teaching experience.
Strong subject knowledge across Science.
Experience teaching secondary-aged pupils.
Experience in PRU, SEMH or SEND settings is advantageous.
Creative and engaging approach to lesson delivery.
Committed to helping young people reach their potential.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Science lessons to secondary pupils in a small, supportive environment.
