Job summary

OFG's Jubilee School in Waterlooville is hiring a Science Teacher to deliver engaging GCSE science in a supportive, small-group setting. You will tailor lessons to individual needs and help students achieve progress that exceeds expectations.

You will create personalised experiments, track progress, and collaborate with LSAs and care staff to provide consistent support. The role is permanent, 40 hours/week, start September 2026, with a salary up to £45,000.

Qualifications

• QTS or PgCert Ed or equivalent required.
• Experience teaching Science to GCSE level.
• Creative and flexible approach to lessons.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Science lessons up to GCSE level, adapting to learners’ needs.
• Create practical learning experiences to build knowledge and confidence.
• Build positive relationships and support learners with barriers to learning.
• Track progress and contribute to Education and Behaviour Plans.
• Collaborate with LSAs and staff to provide consistent support.
• Help develop Science across the school and create a stimulating environment.
