Job summary

Limehurst Academy, part of the East Midlands Education Trust, is seeking a talented Teacher of Science to join a dedicated team. The role is full-time and permanent, starting 1st January 2027, or sooner if possible, and includes responsibilities as a form tutor within the eight-person Science department.

You will contribute to high standards of teaching, student progress and safeguarding, in a school that emphasises achievement in a caring environment and strong community involvement.

Qualifications

• Full enhanced DBS check required.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Experience teaching Science at secondary level is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Science to the full age and ability range, including GCSE subjects.
• Be a form tutor as part of the Science department.
• Support student achievement and safeguarding within the school community.
