Job summary

Jubilee School in Waterlooville is seeking a Science Teacher for a permanent post starting September 2026. You will deliver GCSE science, tailoring lessons for small groups and 1:1 settings to help students achieve more than expected.

The role requires creativity, resilience and a collaborative approach within a supportive Outcomes First Group environment. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, UK applicants only.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Science lessons up to GCSE level, adapting teaching to individual needs, abilities and learning styles.
  • Create practical, meaningful learning experiences that build knowledge, confidence, independence and a love of Science.
  • Build positive relationships with students and provide calm, consistent support for those with barriers to learning or challenging behaviour.
  • Track progress and contribute to Individual Education Plans and Behaviour Plans.
  • Work collaboratively with LSAs, tutors, care staff and other professionals to provide consistent support.
  • Contribute to the development of Science across the school and help create a stimulating learning environment.

About the Role

Are you a Science Teacher looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference every day?

At our school, you won’t be teaching to a packed classroom or delivering a one-size-fits-all curriculum. You’ll work with young people in small groups and 1:1 settings, creating engaging, personalised Science lessons that meet students where they are and help them achieve more than they thought possible.

We’re looking for a teacher who is creative, resilient and passionate about making Science accessible and excitingsomeone who can build trust, inspire curiosity and help young people overcome barriers to learning.

What You’ll Do
