Science Teacher – Long-Term Opportunity in Telford

We’re working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Telford that is looking to appoint a dedicated Science Teacher for a long-term supply role from September 2025. Whether you’re an experienced QTS teacher or an enthusiastic ECT, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real impact in the classroom.

  • Position: QTS/ECT Science Teacher
  • Location: Telford
  • Salary: £175 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Contract Type: Long-term supply
  • Start Date: September 2025
  • Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

The Role
You’ll be teaching General Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that spark curiosity and promote a strong understanding of scientific principles. The school offers a full timetable and strong departmental support, with access to excellent resources and a focus on continuous professional development.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Monitoring student progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff

The Candidate
You’ll be an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science teacher with a strong classroom presence. QTS or ECT status is essential, and experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 is expected. You’ll need excellent communication skills and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
