Job summary

Monarch Education is recruiting a dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming Salford secondary school. You’ll deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics for KS3/KS4, support learners, and foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Science to KS3/KS4.

The Role

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Science across Key Stage 3 and 4
• Prepare pupils for GCSE/A-Level examinations where applicable
• Set and mark work, providing constructive feedback to support progress
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment
• Track and report on pupil attainment and progress
• Collaborate with subject and pastoral teams

Essential Requirements

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, e.g. autism, SEMH, physical or sensory needs
• Relevant training (e.g. Team Teach, Makaton, ASD awareness) desirable
• Patience, resilience and a calm, nurturing approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
