Job summary

Monarch Education is recruiting a dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming Salford secondary school. You’ll deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics for KS3/KS4, support learners, and foster a positive learning environment.

This role offers flexible options including full-time, part-time or long-term supply, with a supportive team and opportunities to develop your CPD and safeguarding practice while contributing to students’ progress.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Science to KS3/KS4.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable.
• DBS Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons for KS3/KS4.
• Prepare pupils for GCSE/A-Level where applicable.
• Set and mark work with constructive feedback.
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and track progress.
• Collaborate with subject and pastoral teams.
