Qualifications

• Valid right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check (up-to-date).
• UK Science Degree or overseas equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
• Experience in a laboratory setting or as a school Science Technician in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with science teachers to prepare and set up equipment for practical lessons.
• Safely maintain, store, and repair laboratory resources and equipment.
• Act as safety advisor, guiding pupils and staff on proper protocols and safe working practices.
• Oversee stock levels and place orders for materials and replacements.
• Ensure the safe disposal of hazardous laboratory waste.
