Location: Greater Manchester | Start: September 2025 | Daily Rate: £89 - £100 | Full-Time

Are you a recent Science graduate with a passion for education? Are you considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, or STEM outreach?

An ambitious and supportive secondary school in Greater Manchester is seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the classroom while making a real difference to students' learning and confidence in science.

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and practical science lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4

• Working 1:1 or with small groups to help students grasp key scientific concepts

• Assisting with experiments, lab prep, classroom resources, and safety procedures

• Promoting a love of learning in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

• Helping students prepare for exams and assessments through targeted support

• A recent graduate in a Science-related subject (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Environmental Science)

• Passionate about education and inspiring the next generation of scientists

• Confident, enthusiastic, and proactive in a busy classroom environment

• Strong communicator with a calm and supportive approach

• Previous experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential

• Competitive daily pay (£89-£100 depending on experience)
