Veritas Education is seeking a proactive Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a Brent-area school from September 2026. You will support KS3-KS4 science lessons, run 1:1 and small-group interventions, and help pupils build confidence and understanding in core concepts.

Science Graduate Teaching Assistant - Starting September 2026

Are you a Science graduate with a passion for working with young people? Do you enjoy problem‑solving, supporting others, and want to make a genuine impact in the classroom? We are looking for an enthusiastic, academically strong graduate to join the team in a school in Brent as a Science Teaching Assistant.

As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Support teaching and learning in the Science department across KS3-KS4
  • Work with pupils of varying abilities, including high achievers and those needing targeted support
  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group intervention to help students build confidence and master key concepts
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging, accessible lessons

Contribute to a positive, supportive, and inspiring learning environment

We are looking for someone who is:
  • A Science graduate (or related discipline)
  • Experienced working or volunteering with children or young people
  • Reliable, committed, and patient, with a genuine desire to help students progress
  • A confident communicator with strong organisational skills
  • Passionate about education and keen to gain school-based experience - ideal if you're considering teacher training
