Job summary

Lambeth Council is seeking an SEND/Inclusion School Improvement Advisor on a fixed-term contract to lead inclusion and school improvement. Based in Lambeth, you will work directly with headteachers, governors and system partners to drive better outcomes for vulnerable learners and to ensure the education children receive is of the highest standard.

Soulbury 31 – 34 : Starting salary £86,994 pa. rising in annual increment to maximum salary of £91,157 pa. excluding LW.

Working directly with headteachers, governors and system partners, you will provide the challenge, support and strategic leadership needed to help schools thrive and ensure vulnerable learners receive the education they deserve.

Provide strategic leadership, challenge and support to schools to improve educational outcomes, strengthen leadership and governance, and secure high-quality provision for all children and young people.

Lead and quality assure school improvement activity across Lambeth, with a particular focus on vulnerable schools, inclusion and SEND, educational standards, attendance and outcomes.

Analyse performance and risk information to inform targeted intervention, facilitate effective partnership working across education and wider services, and contribute to the development, delivery and continuous improvement of the Lambeth school improvement offer.

Support schools to achieve sustainable improvement through early intervention, capacity building, training, monitoring and robust accountability, ensuring the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
