Job Title: Unit Manager

We're recruiting an experienced Unit Manager who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service. The role involves confidently overseeing all catering and service operations for Chartwells, contracted to 35 hours per week.

As a Unit Manager, you will ensure our unit and service counters run smoothly and help deliver incredible experiences. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Shift pattern:

• Monday to Friday: Full-time (Days)
• Weekends: Off

This role is contracted to 44 weeks per year.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise teams to ensure high-quality food and customer service
• Manage in-unit operations, including inventories, budgets, and action plans
• Communicate with line managers to monitor KPIs and targets
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
• Identify opportunities for new service concepts to increase sales
• Coordinate between customers and internal teams to exceed expectations
• Support and train staff, leading by example
• Implement and review health & safety standards for compliance
