Job summary

The City of Liverpool College is seeking a proactive Schools Liaison and Transitions Officer in Liverpool. You will promote the college, drive student recruitment and deliver excellent student customer care, guiding young people from school to further education with strong relationships and confidence.

You will work as part of the Student Progress team, coordinating events, talks and activities to raise awareness of courses and apprenticeships, while supporting a smooth transition for new

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team member and contribute to department success.
• Flexibility with early mornings, late evenings and some weekend work expected.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with local schools and careers services.
• Position City of Liverpool College as the first choice for potential students.
• Support smooth school-to-college transition for prospective students.
• Assist with organisation and delivery of information events (Open and Virtual).
• Develop and promote subject tasters, masterclasses and competitions.
• Maintain the College 14-16 prospectus.
• Engage with social workers and other professionals to meet young people’s needs.
• Design and deliver college talks and workshops for schools.
• Represent the college at school events and parent evenings.
• Organise and lead tours for pupils, staff and parents.
• Research course and career pathways of interest to students.
