Aspens Services Ltd in Workington, United Kingdom, is hiring a Catering Assistant to support our school catering team. You’ll handle tills during service (training provided), deliver friendly service to students and staff, and assist with basic food preparation to ensure smooth lunchtimes.

We offer a 17.5-hour week during 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday, term-time. The Food Hygiene Level 2 is helpful but not essential, as training is provided to the right candidate.

Qualificações

• You’re a team player and thrive as part of a busy team.
• You have previous catering or fast-paced service experience.
• You have a basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• The Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification is great, but not essential as we can provide the training!

Responsabilidades

• Customer Interaction: Working on the tills during service (training provided).
• Front-line Service: Providing friendly, polite customer service to all students and staff.
• Essential Support: Assisting the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintaining Standards: Ensuring a safe, clean kitchen environment and Health and Safety compliance.
