Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd. is seeking a motivated Catering Assistant to support the school kitchen with basic food preparation and to deliver friendly service during the lunchtime rush.

You will join a busy team, work Monday to Friday during term time for around 20 hours a week, and earn £12.71 per hour. Full training in food safety is provided, with opportunities for progression within our growing education catering business.

Qualifications

• Team player who thrives in a busy environment.
• Experience in catering or fast-paced service is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is expected.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is beneficial but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Customer interaction on tills during service with full training provided.
• Front-line service delivering friendly, polite customer service to students and staff.
• Assist the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment and comply with Health and Safety standards.
