Connex Education are working with a SEND School in Wirral who are looking for local carers for Education as a SEND Teaching Assistant. Pupils aged 2-11 with complex SEND needs require a supportive, child-centred approach. Personal care may be needed and flexibility to move between classrooms is expected.
The role runs 8.30am-3.30pm, starting 3rd September 2026, on a full-time temporary-to-permanent basis. Competitive weekly pay and access to CPD are included through Connex Education.

Connex Education are working with a SEND School in Wirral who are looking for local carers who are interested in working in Education as a SEND Teaching Assistant. The School caters for pupils 2-11 years with complex SEND needs. They are seeking support workers who have experience working in residential homes, hospitals or as a personal assistant.
This School caters for pupils aged 2-11 years who have complex SEND and are supported by an Education Health care plan. They have fantastic on-site facilities and actively seek opportunities beyond the classroom through community visits and real-world experiences. All staff put the children at the heart of everything they do and create a fun, calm and engaging learning environment.
As a Support Worker you will have transferable skills and we will provide you with CPD to help transition your skills into Education.
This School Support Worker role will commence 3rd September 2026, this is a full time role. The hours consist of working 8.30am-3.30pm. This role is temp to perm.
