Job summary

Finham Park School is seeking a professional Site Services Officer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role provides day-to-day supervision of the site, ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, monitoring maintenance, minibus driving, and a range of janitorial and maintenance tasks. The position is full-time, 37 hours per week (11am-7pm) with occasional pattern adjustments for holidays and staff absence.

Qualifications

• Must be multiskilled with ability to carry out a range of maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Must be able to handle physical tasks including lifting and moving equipment.
• Must have clear communication and a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the school site and monitor security and safety.
• Carry out maintenance, janitorial and general site duties as required.
• Drive the school minibus and transport pupils/staff when needed.
• Work flexible hours to cover holidays and staff absences.
