Responsibilities

• Maintain the security of premises with regular patrols and ensure alarms are tested and maintained.
• Act as a main keyholder registered with the police, controlling access to keys and site for authorised personnel.
• Ensure windows, doors and gates are opened and closed at times set by the Site Manager/Headteacher.
• Respond to emergencies on site, boarding up damaged windows, changing locks and resetting alarms as required.
• Advise the Headteacher on security enhancements, lighting, entrances and visitor handling to deter intruders.
