Job summary

Remedy Education is working with a specialist SEMH school in Tower Hamlets seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee daily site operations. You will ensure the premises are safe, secure, compliant and well maintained, taking ownership of issues from start to finish.

You will spot potential maintenance or safety concerns, manage contractors and maintain records. The role requires excellent health and safety knowledge, proactive attitude and ability to work independently with strong IT skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager, Caretaker, Facilities Manager or similar.
• Excellent health & safety knowledge and awareness.
• Good IT skills and confidence using computers, email and electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day responsibility for the safety, security and maintenance of the school site.
• Carry out regular site inspections and identify maintenance or health & safety concerns.
• Proactively spot and resolve issues around the premises.
• Manage contractors, repairs and ongoing maintenance works.
• Complete and maintain health & safety checks and site documentation.
• Support with fire safety, emergency procedures and risk assessments.
• Open and secure the school premises as required.
• Manage site stock, equipment and maintenance supplies.
