Job summary

Remedy Education is recruiting a Site Manager for a SEMH school in East London. You will oversee maintenance, security, health and safety, and compliance across the site, coordinating contractors and keeping accurate site records.

The role requires IT literacy, strong health & safety knowledge and the ability to work independently. DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one is preferred. Full-time hours 7am-4pm, ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Manager, Caretaker or Facilities experience.
• Must be IT literate and confident using computers and electronic systems.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety.
• Reliable, organized and able to work independently.
• School experience is highly desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the general maintenance and security of the school site.
• Managing contractors, repairs and site-related issues.
• Carrying out regular health & safety checks.
• Supporting with fire safety, risk assessments and compliance.
• Opening/closing the premises where required.
• Managing stock, equipment and site records.
• Using school systems, email and Microsoft Office confidently.
