Job summary

St Philip and James' Church of England Aided Primary School Oxford is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the school site, maintenance tasks and Health and Safety compliance. The role supports the office manager with a focus on providing a safe, clean and comfortable environment for staff, students and visitors.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, with a supportive team, induction and training, and additional benefits such as wellbeing days and a cycle-to-work

Qualifications

Caretaking/site management experience.
Ability to work independently with a flexible, can do attitude.
Excellent organisational skills.
Basic knowledge of IT systems or willingness to learn.
Ability to assess and carry out maintenance and minor repairs.
A team player.

Responsibilities

Manage the school site and related maintenance responsibilities.
Support the Office Manager in day-to-day operations.
Contribute to Health and Safety across the site.
