Job summary

Morven Park Primary School in Kirkby in Ashfield is seeking a permanent Site Manager to join our friendly team. This full-time role (37 hours) involves managing the school site, ensuring a safe, clean and secure environment for children and staff, and working with the School Business Manager.

You will oversee cleaning and maintenance, manage the annual site budget and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Experience in a school environment is advantageous.
• Ability to manage an annual budget and supervise staff.
• A full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the school site to ensure a safe, clean and secure environment.
• Oversee the cleaning team and the school handyman.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the site.
• Manage the annual site budget and monitor expenditure.
• Coordinate with the School Business Manager and contractors as needed.
• Respond to security alarms and undertake occasional after-hours duties.
