Job summary

Finchley Catholic High School in London is seeking a proactive Site Manager to lead a small team and maintain the school premises to the highest standards. The role is full-time, 52 weeks per year, 36 hours weekly, with shifts including early mornings, evenings and Saturdays.

Salary is NJC Scale P23-25 (£39,519 - £40,575). The successful candidate will oversee building services, compliance and maintenance, working with two caretakers and one cleaner.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing buildings and a site with knowledge of services and compliance.
• Strong IT skills to manage records and systems online.
• Ability to undertake small scale repairs and maintenance.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• A 'can-do' approach to running day to day operations with the flexibility to adapt at short notice.
• Line management experience and/or experience of overseeing third party contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of two caretakers and one cleaner to maintain the school site.
• Manage day-to-day operations and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
• Support development plans for the site as the school heads towards its centenary.
