Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a School Site & Maintenance Manager to keep school premises safe and well-maintained. You will work proactively across site management, assisting cleaning and operational staff while ensuring H&S compliance and safeguarding standards.

As the pivotal point for maintenance, you will provide detailed reports, manage budgets for works, and carry out inspections and repairs to high standards within a school environment.

Qualifications

• Must have school experience and safeguarding awareness.
• DBS/Enhanced DBS checks required for the role.
• Experience coordinating cleaning and operational staff.
• Willingness to take direction and support school aims.
• Ability to provide maintenance reports and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage site and maintenance to keep premises safe and well-maintained.
• Maintain high standards across the school to protect children and staff.
• Prepare and present maintenance reports; resolve defects.
• Carry out inspections; oversee school security and safety procedures.
• Manage budgets for works and coordinate repairs to a high standard.
