Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial is recruiting for a Site Manager – Primary School. Location: Dudley, 37 hours per week. DBS check essential and a 5-year work history with two references is required.

The role involves managing school site operations, safety compliance and liaising with contractors. Pay rate £13.39 per hour, temporary ongoing contract. You will oversee maintenance tasks, health and safety adherence, and ensure the site remains well presented and compliant with safeguarding and security

Qualifications

• DBS check required (Essential)
• Provide a full 5-year work history with two references (Essential)
• Experience in facilities, caretaking or site management
• Knowledge of health and safety and compliance requirements
• Hands-on, practical approach with good problem-solving skills
• Strong communication with staff, contractors and visitors

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management and maintenance of the school site.
• Ensure premises are safe, secure and well presented.
• Complete essential year-end site checks and compliance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records on site procedures, inspections and compliance.
• Support health and safety procedures across the school.
• Liaise with contractors and visitors attending the site.
• Carry out general maintenance and report issues needing attention.
• Monitor building systems, facilities and site equipment.
• Ensure grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
• Assist with emergency procedures and safeguarding and security processes.
